LECTORS AND EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF COMMUNION

LECTORS AND EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF COMMUNION are the Voice and Servants of the Mass. Lectors are the instrument of the Word and provide direct assistance to the Priest by reading assigned scripture clearly and meaningfully from the Ambo. Extraordinary ministers of communion serve the Precious Body and Blood of Christ with care and reverence, with the knowledge that it is the living Christ in their hands.
